TX: Rival High Schools Show Unity in the Wake of Tragedy
Rival high schools from Odessa and El Paso, Texas were scheduled to face off on the football field for the first time since two mass shootings rocked both of the West Texas communities. Instead of playing head to head as enemies, the two teams exchanged banners of support, where students and players wrote messages of strength and unity to each other. As the game began, it signaled that Texas is getting back to normality after such a senseless act of violence. The message of the night? Hate has no place in West Texas!
