OR: Riot Declared at Federal Courthouse in Eugene
A protest outside a federal building in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday turned violent. Six people fought with sticks in the middle of the street, and at one point a stretcher was rolled out. The police declared the event an active riot and unlawful assembly, demanding the crowd to disperse. Three people were arrested for disorderly conduct, but police say no tear gas or force was needed to disperse the group.
