Phoenix High School Loses Senior Art Murals

Phoenix High School Pirates have had a tradition going back 15 years. For the senior art class to paint a mural on one of the designated walls in the cafeteria. Once a senior is ready to graduate, their rite of passage is to put a message on the mural, and sign their names. Unfortunately, the murals will be lost once demolition of the old building takes place this week. But Pirates keep going, and the tradition continues.

Class of 2020 made history by painting this year's mural during a pandemic.
