That's My Take With Jake: Inequality During Men's & Women's March Madness
The NCAA Men's & Women's Championship Basketball Tournaments kicked off this past weekend, both the men's and women's tournaments dominated social media, but not necessarily for the same reasons. While the men's bracket was full of upsets and madness, the women went viral because of the NCAA's shortcomings in the San Antonio bubble. Oregon sophomore Sedona Prince went viral on Tik Tok and other social media platforms by pointing out the differences in weight rooms for the men and women, highlighted the meals provided to athletes, and continued to provide a glimpse inside the bubble as the NCAA addressed these issues. Jake gives his take on why these basic decisions for the women were overlooked and what needs to be done for the women's tournament moving forward.
