Nicole Stewart and Jacob Barney were married Aug. 25 at Eastman Gardens in Grants Pass. The groom's uncle, Jeff Barney of Fairbanks, Alaska, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Tom Stewart of Wolf Creek, and Regina Stewart of Covina, Calif. A 2003 graduate of Crater High School in Central Point, she is a medical assistant with Valley Immediate Care in Medford.

The groom is the son of Josh and Debbie Barney of White City (Sams Valley). A 2003 graduate of Crater High School, he is a heavy equipment operator with Central Pipeline in Central Point.

Maid of honor was Ruby Hart of Sutherlin. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Heather Stewart and Megan Kennedy, both of Medford; Jackie Haight of Lahaina, Hawaii, and Sara Bettencourt of Gold Hill.

Best man was the groom's cousin, Ryan Young of Trail. Groomsmen were Jacob Owen of White City, Jake Oberle of Medford, Gavin Cox of Medford, and Joe Hawkins of Eagle Point.

Flower girl was Payton Grimm of Medford. Ring bearer was Ethan Kleinsasser of Medford.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Eastman Gardens in Grants Pass.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the newlyweds are living in Talent.
