Kasi Jo Darland and Michael Dunning were married on Sept. 15, at Indian Mary Park in Merlin. Pastor James Kiel of the New Apostolic Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Kathie Darland of Central Point. She graduated from South Medford High School in 1995 and from the College of the Siskiyous in Weed, Calif., in 1998. She received a degree in human services in 2003 from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. She is a social service specialist with the Oregon Department of Human Services in St. Helens.
The groom is the son of Carol Dunning of Eureka, Calif., and Kennith Dunning of Longview, Wash. A 1990 graduate of Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Calif., he received a degree in wildlife management from Humboldt State University in 1998. He is a road maintenance worker with Columbia County Road Department.
Matron of honor was Shae Johns of Pueblo West, Colo. Bridesmaids were Rhianna Goldman of Gold Hill and the bride's sisters, Lisa Pereira of Applegate and Jessica Wycoff of Central Point.
Best man was Jeffery Peterson of Columbia City.
Groomsmen were Joshua Lorentzen of Forest Grove, Bridget Titus of Sandy and the groom's father, Kennith Dunning of Longview, Wash.
Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Ayden Wycoff of Central Point and Sayge Pereira of Applegate.
Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Jaykob Pereira of Applegate.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Indian Mary Park.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the newlyweds are living in St. Helens.
