Whitney Nichole Mohar and Troy Eugene Byrd were married Aug. 30 at Pioneer Hall in Lake Creek. Mark Mihaljevich officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Anton Mohar of Medford and Cindy Mohar of Eagle Point. A 2004 graduate of North Medford High School, she is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at Oregon State University in Corvallis. She is employed as a barista.
The groom is the son of Mary Ann and Ronny Byrd of Medford. A 2003 graduate of Eagle Point High School, he is a forklift operator with Keith Brown Lumber in Corvallis.
Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Brandy Mohar of Eagle Point. Bridesmaids were Amanda Engler of Ashland and Tiffany Howell of Eagle Point.
Best man was Jed Dizik of Grants Pass. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Cody Byrd of Medford, and the bride's brother, Anthony Mohar of Eagle Point.
Flower girl was the bride's niece, Brooklynn Mohar of Eagle Point.
Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Brandan Phillips of Medford.
Following the ceremony, the families of the newlyweds hosted a reception at Pioneer Hall in Lake Creek.
After a wedding trip to the Oregon Coast Dunes, the newlyweds are living in Corvallis.
