Amanda Leigh Falske and Tomas Mendoza were married Aug. 2 at Creekside Gardens in Williams. Dr. Thomas William Hirsch of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Grants Pass officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Darrel and Jody Falske of Central Point. A 2001 graduate of Roseburg High School, she received a bachelor's degree in education in 2006 from Western Oregon University in Monmouth. She received a master's degree in special education in 2008 from Southern Oregon University in Ashland. She is a special education teacher at Chehalem Elementary School in Beaverton.

The groom is the son of Santiago and Angelica Mendoza of Madras. A 2001 graduate of Madras High School, he attended Western Oregon University in Monmouth. He works in Beaverton.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Allison Falske of Corvallis. Bridesmaids were Kristin Dicob of Salem, Jenni (Redner) Lewis of Corvallis, Kelly (Farmer) Karnofski of Roseburg, Michelle Sager of Happy Valley and Lindsay Simon of Delray Beach, Fla.

Best man was the groom's brother, Jerry Mendoza of Madras. Groomsmen were Jason Zarate of Independence, Jesus "Moose" Zarate of Salem, and Juan Manuel Landazuri of McMinnville. The groom's ladies were Andrea Kari of Wilsonville and Elysia Zarate of Flagstaff, Ariz. Ushers were Steven Broncheau of Independence, and the groom's nephews, Ezequiel Estrada and Bryan Zuniga, both of Madras.

Flower girls were the groom's nieces, Cynthia Zuniga and Ruby Estrada, both of Madras; and Hope Peckham of Grants Pass.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the newlyweds hosted a reception at Creekside Gardens.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds are living in Beaverton.
