Kimbra Wells and Daniel Metz were married Dec. 14, 2008, at The Grove in Las Vegas. Rev. Phil Lamole officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Charles Wells of Sun City, Ariz. A 1992 graduate of Crest High School in Colony, Kan., she received a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2001 from the University of Maryland. She received a master's degree in health care administration in 2003 from the University of Washington. She is a health care executive.
The groom is the son of Patricia "Patty" Metz of Medford. A 1991 graduate of Ashland High School, he received a bachelor's degree in political science in 1995 from Willamette University. He is a naval officer with the U.S. Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Base, Patuxent River, Md. He will transfer to U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Fla., in mid-February.
Maid of honor was Erika Reddlick of Indianola, Wash. Bridesmaids were Maggie Parks, the bride's daughter, Kathleena Treadwell, and Beck Ruwe.
Best man was Joe Findling of Portland. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Ken Heinrichs of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Francis Gonzales and Michael Mulkerin of Portland. The bride's son, Zach Treadwell, served as usher.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their parents hosted a reception at The Grove in Las Vegas. After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the newlyweds are living in Indianola, Wash.
