Meredith Arden Walker and Eric Craig Sapp were married June 27 at The Willows Bed and Breakfast in Central Point. The Rev. Brad Carrier officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. John A. and Carol C. Walker of Medford. She attended North Medford High School for two years, then transferred to The Thacher School in Ojai, Calif., and graduated in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree, with honors, in 2005 from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She is a Ph.D. candidate in English literature at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
The groom is the son of Robert and Linda Sapp of Sparta, N.J. He received a bachelor's degree in 2001 from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and a law degree (J.D.) in 2005 from Yale Law School in New Haven, Conn. He is a Ph.D. candidate in modern thought and literature at Stanford University.
Bridesmaids were Hannah Murdoch Carney of Austin, Texas and Tatiana Elizabeth Sainati of Minneapolis.
Groomsmen were Jonathan Gielow of Spartanburg, S.C. and Todd Hastings of New Orleans.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Willows Bed and Breakfast in Central Point.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Vienna, Austria.
