Lucy Jean Fowler and John James Collondrez Jr. were married on July 2, 2011, at Events on the Peak in Central Point. David Parenti, commander of police in Broadmoor, Calif., officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Debbi Fowler of Medford. She is a 1999 graduate of South Medford High School and earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 in humanities and social and cultural studies, with a minor in history, from Dominican University of California in San Rafael, Calif. She is working toward a multiple subject teaching credential at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, Calif.
The groom is the son of John James Collondrez Sr., now deceased, and Marty and Linda Lewis of Orinda, Calif. He graduated in 1993 from Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., and earned a bachelor's degree in 2003 in psychology from Cal State University Hayward, in Hayward, Calif. He works as a peace officer in Broadmoor, Calif.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Abby D. Oates, of Gilbert, Ariz. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law Ashley Sietsma of Gilbert, Ariz.; bride's friends Amy Hebert of Sonoma, Calif., Kylie Healy of Boise, Idaho, Jennifer Nielson of Mesa, Wash., Caroline Hynote of Napa, Calif., Julia Hynote of Napa, Calif., and Olivia Hynote of Napa, Calif.
The best man was the groom's best friend, Nate Kundert, of Phoenix, Ariz. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Ed Collondrez, of San Mateo, Calif., the bride's brother, Lance T. Fowler, the groom's friends, Eric Gieseker of Dallas, Texas, Chris Grant of Redwood City, Calif., and Sherwin Lum of South San Francisco, Calif.
A reception hosted by the bride's parents followed the ceremony.
The newlyweds will have a wedding trip to St. Lucia in November and are living in Hayward, Calif.
