Shoshana Tirzah McClellan and Brendan Henry Good were married Aug. 14, 2011, at the Oregon Golf Club in West Linn. Rabbi Arthur Zuckerman officiated the traditional Jewish ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary McClellan, deceased, and Nancy Diamond of Beaverton. She is a 2006 graduate of Beaverton High School and graduated with bachelor's degrees in history and Spanish from the University of Oregon in 2010. She works as a front-desk clerk at University Place in Portland and is a graduate student at Portland State University working toward her master's degree in secondary education.

The groom is the son of Karen and Steven Good of Talent. He is a 2005 graduate of Ashland High School and graduated from the University of Oregon with bachelor's degrees in history and geography. He works at the campus recreation center at Portland State University, where he is working toward his master's degree in public administration, with an emphasis in health care administration.

Maid of honor was Amy Burian of Portland. Hannah Bloombaum of Portland was a bridesmaid, and Jeff Maggi of Eugene was a bridesman.

Best man was Brennan Pothetes, and the groomsman was Amitai Zuckerman; both are from Portland.

Chuppah bearers holding up the canopy symbolizing the newlyweds' new home were the bride's and groom's friends, Emma Kostin-Conley of Portland, Tamir Lehrer of Seattle, Molly O'Glasser of Washington, D.C., and Hollie Welch of Portland.

Sheva Brachot readers giving the seven wedding blessings were cousin of the bride Adam Cerini of Huntington, cousin of the bride Andrea Cerini of Huntington, N.Y., cousin of the bride Evan Diamond of Gettysburg, Pa., cousin of the bride Jennifer Diamond of New Paltz, N.Y., cousin of the groom Amie Kubaska of Mesa, Ariz., friend of the couple Elaura Rifkin of Washington, D.C., and "sister" of the groom Sophie Green of Los Angeles.

A reception hosted by the parents of the bride and groom followed the ceremony at the Oregon Golf Club.

The newlyweds are planning a cruise to Mexico, and they are living in Portland.
