Stephanie Dawn DouBrava and Stephen Edward DeCoste were married Sept. 24, 2011, at Orchard Home Gardens in Medford. Pastor Kevin Gowland of Medford First Church of the Nazarane officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Ellen DouBrava of Medford. She is a 1999 graduate of North Medford High School and a 2003 graduate of Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in English. She works as a school administrator and dance teacher for Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C.
The groom is the son of Joanne Whitehurst DeCoste of Jacksonville, and John and Barbara DeCoste of Portland, Maine. He earned his bachelor's degree in international studies from American University in Washington, D.C., and a master's degree in European studies from Cambridge University in Cambridge, England. He works as a political officer for the U.S. government in Washington.
Maid of honor was friend Dawn Tricarico of New York City. Bridesmaids were friend Emily Wavrin of Medford, friend Kim Hartsook of Gold Hill and the groom's niece, Bethany DeCoste of Medford.
Best man was friend Govi Hines, of Reno, Nev.. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Jack DeCoste of Medford, friend Rob DeGeorge of Central Point and friend Sanjiv Singh of New York City.
Flower girls were Anika Wavrin, Faith DeCoste and Zephyr DeCoste, all of Medford. Ring bearers were Willow DeCoste and Fawkes DeCoste, both of Medford.
A reception hosted by the bride's parents immediately followed the ceremony at Orchard Home Gardens.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the newlyweds are living in Alexandria, Va.
