Kristen Mary Homstad and Nathan Miller Kobinsky were married June 22, 2013 at St. Ambrose Church in Woodbury, Minn. Father William Fider officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Joan and Mark Homstad of Woodbury. She is a 2005 graduate of Duluth East High School in Duluth, Minn., a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas with a master's degree in counseling-psychology. She works as a mental health therapist for Topeka Correctional Facility in Topeka, Kan.

The groom is the son of Emily Miller and Jack Kobinsky of Medford. He is a 2005 graduate of South Medford High School, a 2009 graduate of the University of Arizona with dual bachelor's degrees in geography and Spanish, and he attained GIS certification through a master's degree program at the University of Missouri. He works as an inside sales specialist for Garmin in Olathe, Kan.

Maid of honor was the bride's friend, Alison Heard of Tucson, Ariz. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Leslie Kobinsky of Salt Lake City, and friends Amy Wieseneck, Alexandria Kassman, Emily Wisocki, and Erin Minor.

Best man was the groom's friend, Brice Walters of Corvallis. Groomsmen were friend Scott Rowan of Los Angeles, friend Dylan Shorthouse, and brothers Nate Homstad, Pete Homstad, and Dan Homstad.

A reception hosted by the groom's parents followed the ceremony at Clifton Hollow Golf Course in River Falls, Wis.

The newlyweds reside in Denver, and are planning a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.
